Green Door art gallery is proud to announce two of our artists, Pat Sheppard and Karen Kelley have been juried into the exhibit “Pure Enjoyment” a juried exhibit, which features 77 works of original art, photography, and dimensional art from 35 artists from 2 states and 24 different cities. Brewer Science of Rolla, MO, in cooperation with the Springfield Regional Arts Council and Arts Rolla, will host an exhibit featuring original art and photography at the Creamery Arts Center during the month of October.
This year’s artwork was juried by Denene Taliaferro from Springfield, MO. Selected artwork will be on display from October 4 through October 25, Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, and Saturday from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
Support for the Pure Enjoyment exhibit continues a Brewer Science tradition of sponsoring world-class artistic performances and cultural opportunities. Noting the similarity between creative impulses in both art and science, Dr. Terry Brewer, President and Founder of Brewer Science, states, “One such example of this relationship can be seen through Leonardo da Vinci’s work. His strong curiosity drove him to study and solve problems in science and engineering, which required the same creativity and precision he exhibited in his art.
