Erin Blumer - Watercolor
Erin Blumer is an artist from St. Louis, MO, who focuses on capturing nature in watercolor.
While she paints landscapes, animals, and portraits, her specialty is painting flowers,
which she loves for the vivid colors and flowing, abstract shapes found in leaves and petals.
While Erin's work is realistic, she also wants viewers to appreciate the watercolor medium,
so she often incorporates areas with visible brushwork or where colors "bloom" and pool together on the paper.

Valerie Hosna-Davis - Photography
My passion for nature photography began six years ago and over this span of time, while my fondness for subjects has varied, my love of floral photography, especially water flowers has remained a constant. To me these flowers are some of the most amazing creations. Even though they grow in water, soil and rock, they bloom above the water and emerge into something exquisitely beautiful. To me this is very symbolic of life. We all live in a fallen world, but when we rise above our surroundings we have the ability to become something quite beautiful ourselves. Through my images I hope to convey this message and also to help the viewers to see true beauty in themselves and in others.
I have exhibited my artwork in local galleries and I also have donated many of my pieces to various organizations. Earlier this year through God’s prompting, I established a non profit ministry “Pictures for Patients.” It’s mission is to gift my easel backed prints to individuals in Skilled Nursing Facilities, Rehabilitation Centers, Group Homes, Care Centers, Hospitals, and Safe Houses. The response from all the recipients has been very positive and I know that this is truly something I am meant to do. All sales from my artwork will be going towards my ministry obtaining it’s 501c3 status.

Susan Rogers - Pastel and Oil
I am inspired by the disappearing landscape that is being claimed by
urban sprawl. My impressions of these quiet, unincorporated scenes
invite one to linger. By using sustainable materials I am able to help
preserve these special areas for future generations. Creating most of
my art plein air, allows me to respond to the beauty and spirit of
nature.

Terri Shay - Oil and Watercolor
The work I intend to create is meant to amuse, intrigue, foster curiosity through unique
organic form and movement. I attempt to recreate what has already been seen and
understood through my observation of cycles and patterns with my own vision and
creative interpretation. This could be the familiar seen of a flower and reinterpreted
giving them new playful movement and a slightly more intense change in color pallet
recreated from a different view. This creative process is ever changing and mercurial, in
form. It reflects the harmonies cycles, childish melodies and the adaptive ever changing
imaginative mind.
